Among other things, chess promotes concentration and abstract thinking skills in children. “Wanting to win and being able to lose” is a valuable experience for pupils.
The Chess Tigers (https://www.chess-tigers.de/) have been carrying out projects in the area of school chess since 2005 and have achieved considerable success; they are also very popular here at the ESRM.
This course is aimed at beginners in chess and teaches all the necessary basic skills.
The course will be held in German.
